Gigi Hadid body defence gets support from Joe Jonas

The modelling industry seems to have changed quite a bit over the past few years, with there being more and more curvier models beginning to come through and make a name for themselves on the modelling scene. One of the most exciting up and coming models around at the moment would have to be the stunning Gigi Hadid, who some people have actually had the cheek to criticise.

Gigi Hadid was recently criticised for being out of shape, during her turns on the runway at various fashion week events, with the stunning model hitting back at her critics and defending her curvier shape. Now, Gigi's boyfriend Joe Jonas has spoken out to back Hadid up, by admitting that he is very proud that she has come out to say what needed to be said.

 

During a recent chat with E! News, Jonas beamed, "I'm really proud of her. I think it's something that needs to be spoken about especially in that community. The industry seems to be changing for models, and it's great that she can have a voice." Don't worry Joe, we think Gigi looks absolutely stunning and the haters are always going to hate.

While there are clearly some people who are only interested in seeing stick thin models, we are glad to see the likes of Gigi Hadid coming through, as she truly is a stunning star and has a very huge future ahead of her. Gigi has become a big inspiration for any women with a curvier figure who dream of making it in the modelling industry. You go girl!
