Norman has revealed how he got into acting

If you were to talk to a number of Hollywood actors and actresses about how they become the big star they are today, each and every one of them will have an interesting and exciting story, which will bring hope to any aspiring actor or actress out there. Just take The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus, for example, he just happened to fall into acting.

With the new season of The Walking Dead upon us, Norman Reedus has been doing plenty of interviews and he recently opened up about how he got into acting. Norman has revealed how he was fired from his job working in a motorcycle shop, so decided to go out for a few drinks, which is where his acting career all began.

 

Reedus explained, "A friend of mine took me out to a party that night and I drank way too much and I was yelling at a bunch of people and somebody approached me and asked me to be in a play. They took me to this pizza place... and asked me to be in this play.

He added, "They said, 'You'll be the understudy', so I thought I would never even have to go on, and then I went on the first night because the dude didn't even show up and I was terrified. I didn't know what I was doing. I just booked some stuff and now here we are."

Now we get to see Norman Reedus on our screens as Daryl Dixon in the hit AMC zombie series The Walking Dead, which premieres its sixth season on Sunday, October 11 at 9/8c.
